Who we are
Koe Tutoring was created to change the way students experience tuition - making it more personal, enjoyable, and rewarding for students and reassuring for parents.
What Was Missing
Tuition shouldn’t be boring, impersonal, or unnecessarily expensive. Yet too often, lessons can feel repetitive, with little personality or connection between student and tutor. Teaching methods can feel stuck in the past, while the price of tuition continues to rise without necessarily reflecting the quality of the experience.
We started to question whether there was a better way. We believed some of the best people to teach these subjects were those who had recently sat the same exams themselves - tutors who understood the specification, remembered the pressure, and knew first-hand which methods helped them succeed.
Our Solution
Koe Tutoring was built around a simple idea: tuition works best when it feels personal, engaging, and relevant to the student. We wanted lessons to be something students could enjoy, with tutors they could relate to, and teaching shaped around how they learn.
We also wanted tuition to fit more naturally into family life. Flexible scheduling, direct communication between parents and tutors, and regular progress updates give families greater involvement without adding unnecessary complexity. By working with university tutors, we can also offer high-quality support at competitive rates - because we believe the cost of tuition should reflect its value, not simply the price attached to it.
