Hello! I’m Felix, a second-year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Edinburgh, currently on track for a First.

I’ve loved maths and physics for as long as I can remember, which is what drew me to engineering. Work experience at Rolls-Royce, BAE Systems, Renishaw and the UK Central Laser Facility has shown me how much real engineering relies on them, and I’d love to pass that enthusiasm on.

Before university, I went to Charterhouse School, where I was Head of House and achieved A-levels in Geography (A*), Maths (A) and Physics (A), an EPQ (A*), and 8 A*s at GCSE, including Maths, Physics and English. I’m happy to tutor GCSE and A-level Maths, Physics and Geography.

I’m used to working with all ages. At St Ethelburga’s Church, I babysat for the vicar’s daughters and the curate’s daughter, and I’ve volunteered at the Farncombe Day Centre and a Red Cross charity shop. I’ve also worked in busy hospitality roles at Wimbledon and The Queen’s Club, so I’m comfortable, friendly and patient with all sorts of people.

Outside of studying, I enjoy tennis, golf, skiing, furniture making and traveling.
